Punta Rata and Nugal are on the mainland. Zlatni Rat, Dubovica and Stiniva require a plan for Brač, Hvar or Vis respectively. Do not treat these names as a list of easy consecutive day trips.
Punta Rata combines pine shade and services; Stiniva demands a difficult descent on foot. A beach can be spectacular and still be the wrong choice for a pushchair, limited mobility or a group arriving late in the heat.
