Who is behind the guide?
Beaches of Croatia is an independent editorial project by Adriatic Ritual. We connect beach planning with a wider network of Croatian destination guides. We are not a national or local tourism board.
How this guide is researched
The 60 beach guides in this edition were desk-researched using tourist-board pages, park and beach operators, and selected destination information. Sources vary in depth: not every practical detail is established for every beach. Each guide links its sources and records the review date. We do not claim that these beaches were inspected in person for this edition.
Our shortlists and timing suggestions are editorial judgements. They are not a ranking based on visitor votes, paid placement or a claim that one beach suits everyone.
What we verify—and what we do not assume
We distinguish a destination’s published description from details that need a current local check. Parking tariffs, functioning accessibility equipment, lifeguard provision, water quality and seasonal services can change. Unknown does not mean absent: it means the guide cannot establish the answer confidently.
We do not label a beach wheelchair-accessible just because a ramp or promenade appears in a photograph. We do not promise safety, empty beaches or guaranteed swimming conditions.
Stays and commercial relationships
Accommodation links currently lead to destination resources, not live room availability. Some destination sites belong to the Adriatic Ritual network. No booking commission is generated by an affiliate identifier in this launch edition. Any future paid listing or affiliate relationship should be clearly identified where it appears and must not change factual beach guidance.
Corrections and updates
Send the beach name, the exact detail, the date observed and a supporting source or photograph to contact@adriaticritual.com. We will review corrections before changing the guide. Review dates reflect editorial work, not automatic daily refreshes.

The photographs show the named locations and are credited to their creators under the applicable Creative Commons licences. They illustrate the coastline, not current crowds, weather or service availability. See all image credits and licences.
