Rajska Plaža and Bijeca are sandy starting points; Sakarun combines its pale bay with a more involved island journey. Decide whether you want sand for sitting, a soft seabed for wading, or both. The material at the waterline can vary.
Check how far you will carry bags, where you can find shade, and whether the facilities you need are open. Shallow water can become crowded and is never a substitute for supervision.
