How do you get there?
Travel across Krk to Baška and continue on foot towards the waterfront. The island’s road connection does not eliminate summer congestion; leave flexibility in arrival plans.

Where can you park?
Use signed town parking, then walk to your chosen section of the bay. Current fees and accessible parking spaces need confirmation locally.
04 / The practical guide
Is there natural shade?
Do not count on natural shade across the main open beach. Bring sun protection or check seasonal parasol hire before settling in.
05 / The practical guide
What is the beach and seabed like?
A predominantly pebble beach. Entry conditions vary along a long bay; choose a section appropriate to the swimmers in your group and consider water shoes.
06 / The practical guide
Is it accessible?
A town promenade may make the approach easier, but the last section over pebbles can still be a barrier. Current ramp, hoist and accessible-toilet provision has not been verified here.

What facilities are available?
Baška’s tourist board describes a developed beach with activities and amenities. Check local operators for showers, rentals, supervision and out-of-season availability.

When is the best time to go?
Our suggestion: visit in the morning to choose your section before the beach fills. Check wind conditions, especially if travelling with young children or planning paddle sports.

Where should you stay nearby?
Baška is the logical base for walking access. Choose accommodation by its actual route to the waterfront; ask whether parking is included if arriving by car.

What else is nearby?
Explore Baška’s old streets and harbour. Longer walks towards other coves require proper footwear, water and a separate route plan.
